Christy Illustrates – Dark Whimsy with Attitude
I’ve always been drawn to the weird, the witty, and the wonderfully twisted. Art became my escape, my rebellion, and my way of turning life’s chaos into something that makes people smirk, laugh, or feel a little less alone.
I started creating because I needed more than survival. I needed an outlet for humor, sarcasm, and all the beautifully odd things that don’t quite fit anywhere else.
From my whimsy watercolor paintings & my digital illustrations to my unique wood-burned pieces, I blend dark, sassy, and slightly creepy elements with a touch of humor. Skulls, mushrooms, and strange little characters show up often. Usually with a bit of attitude. My work isn’t just art; it’s a reminder that even in heavy seasons, there’s still room for laughter, edge, and a little light in the dark.
